Tally Oaks Veterinary Wellness Center is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our small, holistic, fear-free practice in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. We offer a low-stress environment with weekday-only hours (8am–5pm), no after-hours emergencies, and a patient-focused approach with approximately 8–10 appointments daily.

About Our Practice

We focus on personalized, compassionate veterinary care with an emphasis on prevention, nutrition, holistic medicine, and client education. Services include wellness care, surgery, dentistry, acupuncture, laser therapy, and more. Our clinic is located on a peaceful horse property designed to reduce stress for pets and owners alike.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated team player with at least 2 years of veterinary technician experience who:

  • Works well independently and collaboratively
  • Communicates effectively with clients
  • Is passionate about animal welfare and fear-free handling
  • Enjoys client education and holistic care approaches

Responsibilities

  • Assist with exams and procedures
  • Venipuncture and catheter placement
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Dental cleanings
